Junior Sous Chef

KSB Recruitment is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to work in a luxury hotel in the heart of Derbyshire. The venue is nestled in 35 acres of wonderful gardens, wild meadows, and woodland. This beautiful location has recently had a £9 million refurbishment, including a brand-new Kitchen, which offers a seasonal menu! This is a perfect homely retreat for friends and families. The role is suitable for a chef looking to progress their career into a Head Chef Role. This luxury hotel won GQ Magazine and Times Hotel of the Year.

Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, 4 days a week

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
• Assist in menu planning, ensuring a balance of creativity and customer preferences.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering growth and development within the team.
