Quality Systems Analyst

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships recruitment

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative partnership between the University of the West of England (UWE) and BPM Contracting Services Limited (BPM) under the UK Government sponsored Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) programme.

The position is a 24-month fixed term contract, which includes management and business skills training provided by the national KTP programme and a further £2k per annum dedicated training budget tailored towards your personal development.

BPM is an SME (small or medium enterprise) with a core focus on Building Maintenance, working with local councils, housing associations and other public sector organisations for the construction, maintenance, and repair of properties within the housing, healthcare, education, and infrastructure sectors.

BPM also supports the local construction industry and community, providing training and apprenticeship opportunities through links with further education colleges and not-for-profit organisations, reflecting the companys commitment to sustainable growth, customer service excellence and strong social engagement.

With specialist support from the Information Systems and Operations Management academic team at UWE Bristol, you will lead on a 24-month project where you will develop and implement a novel organisation-wide quality management system through distributed leadership development, customer relationship metrics, digital integration of systems, performance benchmarking, and employee training for retention and continuous improvement.

About you:

You will have strong communication skills with experience of stakeholder management and working collaboratively in teams to ensure the development of effective working relationships.

You will have strong analytical skills with the ability to carry out market scanning and research new technology applications.

You will be comfortable working in an academic environment and engaging in academic work.

You will be able to think logically and develop creative approaches to problem solving.

Qualifications required: A relevant degree in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management, Construction, Computer Science or similar.

This is a full-time, fixed-term post for 24 months.
