Location: Roissy - Charles de Gaulle airport - Moulin business area, Paris

Hybrid Working: 3 days per week in office

Contract Length: 12 Months with conversion to permanent after. (Contract to perm)

Full-time contract 8 Hours per day, 5 days per week

A Global Aircraft servicing provider (interior & exterior) are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Methods & Industrialisation Team Leader to join our team in Paris. In this role, you will play a key part in leading and developing the internal processes and project management for complex projects with a big focus of manufacturing.


This position is heavily focused on the Methods… They can be developed in house or new industrial means can be found to cope with manufacturing requirements.


Please note this position requires both English and French language speaking skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a growing team of 6 methods and industrialisation engineers.
  • Travel internationally (Toulouse, Dubai, China, Mexico) for up to one week every 2 months to collaborate with our global teams.
  • Define project scope, establish internal processes, and ensure clear communication across departments.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize production processes and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery and quality conformance.
  • Partner with program management and design teams from the initial quote stage through to project completion.
  • Participate in pre-project planning, including creating proposals, reviewing purchase orders, and developing make-or-buy strategies.
  • Monitor and track project KPIs throughout the entire lifecycle, from project initiation to Final Inspection Authority (FIA) approval.
  • Champion continuous improvement by recommending and implementing new tools and methodologies.
  • Review and analyze complex CAD manufacturing designs involving multiple departments, suppliers, and projects.
  • Build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.


Skills & Experience:


  • 5+ Years experience working in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of technical and manufacturing methods.
  • Excellent fluency in English and very good French communication skills.
  • Proven experience in leading and motivating a team in a manufacturing environment.
  • Highly organized and structured with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic working knowledge of SolidWorks & Catia CAD tools in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with Part 21G POA (Production Organisation Approval) is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience in the Aviation, Aerospace, or Automotive industry is desirable.
  • Proven experience working for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) companies.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.
  • Effectively implement process and methodology changes, managing resistance and ensuring team buy-in.
