THE BUSINESS

Our client based in Cramlington are seeking someone to come in as an experienced Stock Controller to join a growing business. The role will include future career progression for the right candidate and the salary can be negotiated depending on experience. The role will be a permanent contract with a 12-week probation period.

THE ROLE

• Report to logistics manager
• Stock control of finished items along with key movements and locations
• Key link between warehouse operations and functions
• Reduce stock losses and customer queries
• Be able to work at pace and work well under pressure
• Manage the locations where stock is stored and update computer systems when required.
• Implementation of cycle counts, ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Manage control levels to ensure all mistakes and discrepancies are acted upon and addressed
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with and fully maintained
• General housekeeping duties

THE PERSON

• Prove stock management in a logistics and warehouse environment
• PC Literate with excellent computer skills
• Keen eye for detail, accuracy and quality
• Forklift license would be beneficial (Training can be given)
