Business Intelligence Developer

SR2 are currently looking for a BI Developer (with 1-2 years' experience) for a start-up organisation based in Central London.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite in Central London).

Salary: £30,000 - 33,000.

What will you be doing?

• As the BI Developer, you will be responsible for the BI reporting suite, supporting both operational and strategic decision making.
• You will look after the company’s data warehouse, syncing & organising data from various systems and databases.
• Oversee the company’s self-service reporting tool (Google Looker).
• Work closely with different teams across the business to identify, standardise and implement consistent KPIs.
• Report on any progress, issues and achievements to your line manager.
• Engage regularly with stakeholders to understand and meet requirements.
• Provide technical expertise on data visualisation, selecting and implementing the tools and systems you think best match the needs of the business.
• You will report into the Head of Engineering.

Ideal candidate:

• Solid BI background, with experience developing insightful reporting and reporting systems.
• 1+ year working with Excel, SQL databases.
• Experience with Looker, Big Query and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)
• Demonstrable experience managing a data warehouse.
• Exposure to PHP/Laravel is a bonus.
