The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Supplier Relationship Manager to join our existing commercial operations team.

As a Supplier Relationship Manager dedicated to the IT category within The British Business Bank, you will be responsible for making finance markets work better for smaller businesses through the development of deep relationships with our IT strategic partners. The person appointed will be part of the Commercial Operations team and will be responsible for maximising the value and Supplier effectiveness from a portfolio of IT Supplier relationships from a cost, SLA, support and performance perspective

The main purpose of the role is to partner with the Business to oversee IT supplier service contracts, ensuring continued high levels of value and quality in service delivery and compliance with SLAs.You will act as an Escalation point for the Business and Supplier in the event of concerns, ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review within the IT category whilst undertaking assurance activities to ensure all controls, processes, documentation and procedures are reviewed regularly and adhered to.

To be considered for this role you must have extensive and demonstrable experience of effective contract, commercial, service and budget management within a complex multi-source service / supplier environment, including performance/SLA/KPI management, service specific contract drafting & negotiation skills/dispute management.
You will have experience in risk management with the ability to analyse complex performance information & invoicing for all outsourced services as well as excellent knowledge of working with and managing outsourced IT Service Providers.
You will also have the ability to use clear escalation paths for reporting, prioritising and resolving issues.
A good understanding of public sector procurement processes and strategic supplier relationship management in general would be an advantage as well as a back ground and history of maximising supplier relationships within the IT category.Previous experience and understanding of the specific laws relating to Public sector procurement and managing public money would also be desirable.
