Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to manage the efficient fulfilment of customer orders and shipments. Based in Wotton-under-Edge, this dynamic and diverse role requires a range of skills and competencies as our business continues to grow and evolve. Salary up to £26,000 depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Support the UK Sales Managers by administering CRM, coordinating customer support, producing quotations, and qualifying leads/opportunities.

  • Provide front-line technical support for customers.

  • Produce quotations, coordinate customer issues relating to POs and deliveries.

  • Process sales orders on Sage to support the Sales Office.

  • Coordinate opportunities up to £5K and raise opportunities over £5K, following up with ASMs.

  • Identify and qualify leads from enquiries/sales and identify opportunities for product upgrades for customers using obsolete products.

  • Engage in proactive teamwork, support ASMs and liaise with finance on credit control.

Key requirements

  • Educated to A Levels or equivalent level

  • The ability to work without close supervision

  • Excellent planning and communication skills

  • Knowledge of Sage applications including Sales Review (but not essential)

  • Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft products, including Word and Excel

  • Previous experience within a corporate sales support role preferred.

The successful applicant will be organized and motivated with a positive attitude. They will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be a real team player. As the successful individual will be representing Renishaw, a service-orientated pro-active approach is essential to ensure the requirements of customers, both internal and external, are dealt with efficiently and effectively. Covering the work of colleagues whenever they are absent will also be required, as necessary.
