An exciting opportunity has arisen in our London office for a Debt Recovery Commercial Manager with excellent people skills to join our dedicated team and contribute to our growth. We are looking for a passionate, pro-active, enthusiastic and motivated team player to provide the highest standards of professionalism with previous experience within a debt management role essential.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work with stakeholders and other advisors to further enhance the companys successful management of the recovery of parking charge notice debt.

Your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:-

Manage and analyse 3rd party providers and legal firms in relation to the companys parking charge debt management policy.

Assist the enforcement team as and when required by dealing with customers enforcement issues and liaising with client relationship coordinators.

Keep debt management systems up to date with all actions undertaken being recorded.

Define, design, develop and implement effective collection strategies against all customer segments

Advising clients in clear and simple terms as to the most cost-effective action to recover debt and keeping them informed throughout the process.

Providing guidance to other internal teams that support effective debt management processes

Analyse statistics and produce reports and review other data to manage the level of debt being provided within the business.

Utilise technology and data to deliver the most effective insight, segmentation and collections customer journey while ensuring the efficiency of our collections processes are maximised and that business performance is strong.

Assist with the management and introduction of KPIs across the team to maximise revenue opportunities

Assist with the management of any court summons being served on the company with 3rdparties.

Ensure highly effective controls are in place, meeting all regulatory and legal requirements.

Select and pursue cases through the County Court process, raising summons, applying for judgement then pursuing through papers for questioning or high court action if appropriate and dealing with all legal proceedings with 3rd parties.

The key skills we are looking for in a candidate should be but not limited to:

Knowledge and experience of dealing pre-legal and legal debt recovery processes for a variety of debt, ability to manage, organise and maintain a large debtor base and maximise recovery, analytical and judgement skills, work with a variety of 3rd parties, ability to devise and implement new policies

Proven success in managing debt within other businesses with a minimum of 5 years debt management experience.

Excellent communicator with strong collections and customer service skills.

Outstanding planning and organisation and good problem solving skills and a willingness to take responsibility

The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with stakeholders, customers and members of the public.

Excellent IT skills, with previous experience of working with Microsoft packages and specifically advanced excel skills including pivot tables

Motivated, flexible and pro-active with the ability to meet/exceed targets and service level agreements.

Good Commercial experience and understand the impact items have on the P&L
