Role Description
We are seeking full-time Fine Jewellery Online Sales at our MJ Jones location in London. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine jewellery, customer service, and sales communication. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for handling both inbound and outbound client messaging, supporting the field sales team, and ensuring an exceptional experience for all customers, through online messaging.
Your primary focus will be on driving sales through prompt and effective communication, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will assist in curating selections, confirming orders, providing product details, offering after-sales care, and keeping client data up to date. The role requires maintaining concise and accurate records of customer purchases, orders, communications, and ensuring the client database is updated regularly, while supporting field sales with client follow-up and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle sales via messaging (inbound and outbound) with speed and professionalism
- Provide high-quality, luxury-level customer service through all communications
- Support the field sales team by managing client follow-ups and care
- Collaborate with field sales to ensure seamless client transitions from online to in-person interactions
- Assist customers with product selection, orders, and after-sales service
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, payment details, and ensure client data is kept up to date in the CRM system
- Coordinate with shipping/delivery teams to ensure timely fulfilment
- Proactively address client queries, concerns, and feedback
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective client engagement
Working Hours
- The position requires flexibility, with hours ranging between 10am – 6pm, Tuesday to Saturday (Saturday working from home)

Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in luxury or fine jewellery
- Proven experience in sales via messaging platforms (e-commerce or retail)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to close sales through messaging
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of sports is essential (football)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Monday.com and point-of-sale systems
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, client relationship management (CRM) tools, and updating client data
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
