Project Manager - Data Warehousing (FP&A)


Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the design and implementation of data warehouse solutions for our FP&A team. The ideal candidate will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and IT professionals.
  • Data Warehouse Design: Oversee the design and architecture of data warehouse solutions to support FP&A activities.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of data warehouse solutions through rigorous testing and validation.
  • Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Training and Support: Facilitate training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support post-implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve data warehousing solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, with a focus on data warehousing or business intelligence projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data warehousing concepts, SQL, ETL processes, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with FP&A processes and financial systems.
