Contract Director, Haydock

Monday to Friday 42 hours per week, 8am 5pm

We are seeking an experienced Contract Director to take the charge of our operations, steer our strategic direction, and ensure our continued success in a competitive market.

As the Contract Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of key contracts, ensuring that they meet client expectations and align with company objectives.

You will lead a team of professionals, manage client relationships, and ensure that all contractual obligations are met with excellence. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional leadership, and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement the company's strategic vision and business plans and set long-term goals and objectives for the company.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required standards.
  • Oversee financial performance, including revenue generation, profitability, and cost control.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and address any client concerns or issues are addressed within a timely manner.
  • Supervise project managers and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the management team and staff and foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategies for market expansion and client acquisition.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies and identify and manage risks associated with company operations and projects.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes along with ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of projects, meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Accountable for the overall performance of the company, including financial results, operational efficiency, and market growth and delivery of excellent customer service.
  • Promote and enforce health and safety standards across all operations and ensure the company adheres to relevant health and safety regulations
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and long-term client relationships and address and resolve any client issues or complaints effectively.

What youll need:

  • Experience of developing large-scale, complex and multi-stakeholder relationships
  • A strong background in managing operations, finances, and client relationships within the plant/tool hire industry would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Commercially astute and performance focused to ensure people strategy is inline to support company growth
  • Demonstrable track record of achievement through revenue driven objectives
  • Financial and commercial acumen
