Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Tameside Council's Fostering team as a Panel Advisor. This is a part time role offering a fantastic pay rate of £45 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• A focus on QA of Panel papers to ensure the Foster Panel can proceed with the business and progress to ADM.
• Ensuring the Panel membership is compliant and that there is a stable membership group in order that the Panel can grow and develop together
• Putting in place a training plan for the Panel and the Fostering Service to undertake joint training
• Providing a weekly clinic for Fostering Staff to receive advice and support with writing and preparing reports
• Set up a fortnightly Panel Matters meeting with TM's from Fostering Service and Fostering Reviewing Officers to review ADM decisions/actions to follow up, look at themes and patterns.

Requirements:

• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Social Work England registered
• Enhanced DBS

• Children
