Experienced Butcher - Night Shift

We are looking for permanent Night Shift Butcher for our client who is a successful supplier of meat products, delicatessen and dry goods to the catering industry based in Poole.

The role will predominantly involve cutting steaks to customers bespoke orders.

Salary: Starting at £13.39 per hour plus £10 per night shift allowance.

Hours of work:

40 or 48 hours per week, worked Monday to Friday nights, 10pm to 7am (40-hour contracts will have 1 night off during the week to be agreed).

The role: As an experienced butcher you will prepare fresh and frozen meats to a high standard and to individual customer specification for supply to both retail and the catering trade.

Reporting to either a Shift Supervisor or Manager, you will work on a butcher's block in a traditional butchery, as part of a team of production personnel in a shift-based factory environment.

The Ideal Candidate: Will have previous experience as a butcher. You will be both talented and/or enthusiastic about butchery and ideally have previously worked in fresh meat production for catering establishments.
