You will lead and manage Information Security assurance activities within the Bank and ensure that new and existing solutions are in line with its polices and standards. Youll enable business requirements through risk-assessed security controls and technologies and by fostering close working relationships with key stakeholders.
You will support and help develop the Security Operations Centre as well as supporting colleagues in taking informed risks to deliver for our customers in line with risk appetite. Ultimately to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Banks systems and data.
You will be expected to define and implement security requirements and specifications as well as develop, review and implement security architectures, policies, standards, patterns, and procedures.You will provide 3rd/4th line support for any technical or security related investigations and recommend and select security solutions, controls and tools whist Leading, supporting, and mentoring security architects, engineers, and junior IT staff as well as supporting the delivery of security strategies and roadmaps.
To be considered for this role you must have demonstrable experience in leading information security delivery with colleagues and third-party suppliers as well as representing Information Security in technical design authorities.
You will have experience in reviewing design documents and providing security assurance across various operating systems, virtualisation and containerisation platforms, network technologies, infrastructure, applications, integration architectures and cloud service architectures - PaaS, IaaS, SaaS - across Azure, AWS, Google and Salesforce.
You will have previously delivered solutions around security concepts such as, Zero Trust Architecture, Endpoint Device Management, Threat Modelling and DevSecOps, Identity and Access Management, and Data Loss Prevention.
You will have experience in policy and internal standards development as well as monitoring and reporting on compliance with security and data protection policies, as well as the enforcement of policies.
You will have developed and maintained written security controls, compliance monitoring, vulnerabilitymanagement, and defining treatment strategies along with performing risk assessments, IT audits, security planning and systems accreditation.
Previous experience of implementation of Information Security Frameworks, HMG Security Policy Framework requirements or Government Security Classifications would be a distinct advantage.
