Peripatetic Support Manager - Community Services Specialism

We have an opportunity available for a Peripatetic Support Manager to join our operations team.

The role will predominantly cover our Community Services Division (which are situated in Warrington, Cheshire, Yorkshire and Cambridge) however you will be required to work across other divisions when needed. The role will involve working remotely, extensive travel and regular overnight stays, due to this access to your own transport is essential.

Salary: £34,831 per annum

Hours: 39 per week

Responsibilities

The Peripatetic Support Manager will be required to specialise in the delivery of Community based services including carer support, community mental health and day service provision.

As an integral part of the operational team, the Peripatetic Support Manager will provide operational support and assistance to our front line community services. You will also be required to support services in other divisions, including registered and supported living. This will be part of a development programme towards a team of multi-skilled practitioners. You will also be required to travel and be flexible to the needs of our services.

You will need to be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of customers and the organisation and it will be expected that the PSM will spend a minimum of 70% of their working hours providing support within services. You will be required to attend at Head Office (based in Warrington, Cheshire) as and when required.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Management NVQ 5 (or the willingness to work towards in an agreed time- frame) in Health and Social Care and have previous experience of leading a team in a similar care setting.
