Our client a leading retailer within its field is looking to appoint a Branch Merchandiser to join it Planning and Allocation team.

Our merchandiser planning teams work across our multiple channels online, stores, partners and international and you will be responsible for supporting the channel with sufficient stock levels so they can optimise their trading opportunities.

Ideally you be commercially aware with previous experience within a comparable merchandising or supply chain role. You will also be a quick learner with brilliant communication skills, and eye for detail, and able to gain a good understanding of our systems and processes. You will also have leadership capacity to mentor and develop your team.

Key Responsibilities

Create and implement a forward plan that meets specific channel performance requirements.

Ensure effective and accurate planning of inbound/outbound stock flow to reflect range and promotional changes.

Analyse channel performance to ensure stock levels are optimized to drive sales and manage channel stock levels accordingly.

Identify and own key sales volumes forecasts at channel level, in collaboration with the buying and marketing teams for new ranges, seasons and promotions.

Partnering with Retail Operations, Area and Store Managers to ensure stores are supported in achieving sales targets and to address issues and opportunities.

Identify, build and maintain key internal/external stakeholder relationships to deliver an ongoing optimum stock position.

Be a proactive participant in your own personal development and display drive and enthusiasm in achieving your career goals.

Coaching and mentoring the team to deliver with confidence and competence.
