Airfreight Export Clerk

Duties:

• Arrange collection of goods.
• Taking airline bookings and processing these.
• Processing/collecting export documentation.
• Submitting export entries on CDS.
• Following export procedures and dealing with special export requirements.
• Communicating daily with overseas agents; suppliers and customers.
• Providing updates with progress of shipments & sending post shipment documents.
• Resolving issues and always providing excellent customer service.

Skills/Requirements:

• 1-3 years proven track record of AIRFREIGHT EXPORTS.
• Good Freight Forwarding Export knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent customer service profile.
• Team player and able to use their own initiative.
• Flexible to meet the requirements of this sector.
• Customs knowledge of CDS & NCTS
• IT knowledge of Outlook, windows application. Knowledge of MultiFreight would be advantage, but not necessary as training will be provided
• Team player
• Complete and gapless work/education history
• Due to the DFT & CAA Legislation 5 year Enhanced referencing & DBS to follow once successful.
• Paramount are integrity, discretion and honestly, when handling sensitive information, such in operational and financial matters.

Other:Salary Band=25,000-£27,000Permanent position.Working schedule = Monday to Friday from 08:30am-to 17:00hrs or 09:00am-17:30hrsHoliday & Pension. Annual bonus. Additional training.Career progression. Great working environment!
