About the Company

Applica Resourcing are partnering with a leading Energy Operator who currently require a FOPS Safety / Commissioning Interface Leader for a major FPSO project. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-track subsea production project that aims to deliver first oil within five years.

About the Role

As the FOPS Safety / Commissioning Interface Leader, you will be a key player in ensuring the safe design and commissioning of a state-of-the-art FPSO unit. Your role will encompass overseeing safety standards, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements, and coordinating commissioning activities to meet project goals, including first oil and start-up objectives. Based in Saint Quentin en Yvelines (France) during the detailed engineering phase, you will transition to China for FPSO construction and commissioning, and later to Angola for FPSO start-up. You will work closely with the Field Operations Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution from design to operations, emphasizing safety, operability, and environmental stewardship.

About You

• Engineering degree (Bac +5 level).
• Proven track record in commissioning management and experience in an RSES/OIM role (minimum three positions).
• Strong leadership, autonomy, and organizational skills.
• Deep understanding of FPSO design and the offshore energy industry.
• Ability to manage complex safety systems and processes.
• Bilingual in French and English.
