Full assessment required.

Immediate starts available.

• Shifts Days and Nights - Available on going 5 days per week.
• Tramping Days and Nights - Monday - Friday, Night out allowance.

Equipment: Standard, Long & High Curtain siders and boxes. Palletised Goods.

Rates of Pay:

PAYE £15.00 per hour Days

PAYE £16.00 per hour Nights

Role Summary

HG are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to work with our client based in Coventry with immediate start dates available

This is an ongoing temporary position with the consistency, commitment & benefits associated with “full time work” you can enjoy the flexibility of temporary work but the security of working for a leading Haulage Company.

You will be required to carry out Trunking duties to National and Regional Distribution Centres

Requirements

HGV C+E Class 1

Minimum 3 Years relevant Driving Experience

• Valid CPC & Tacho Card

• Proven experience as an HGV driver, preferably with Curtain sider experience.

• Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.

• Solid understanding of UK road regulations and traffic laws.

• Ability to read and interpret maps and use GPS navigation systems effectively.

• Strong organisational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.

• Load and unload securely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing techniques are applied.

• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and road safety standards while operating the vehicle.
