General Operative

Your new company
You will be working for a public sector organisation, who, due to an increase in workload, are looking to add a general operative to their on-site team at a warehouse-type facility in Edinburgh.
Your new role
You will be reporting to the facility each morning and be tasked with numerous duties throughout the day. This will include using IT systems to create records for the stock which are then sent out to their clients as well as loading deliveries a couple of times a week. Ideally, you will have experience in a warehouse environment and a basic understanding of general office-based skills.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a reliable, hard-working individual who isn't phased by physical work. At times the work can be repetitive and requires a great attention to detail. There is free parking on site for your own vehicle and the warehouse is in a good location for public transport links.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered long-term work and be paid weekly with the option of paid annual leave. Your Hays consultant will be in touch regularly and this contract has the potential to run into 2025 for the right individual.
