Sales Account Manager

Job Role: Account Manager Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 plus uncapped commission
Location: Sheffield, on-site
Contract: Full-time permanent, Monday to Friday

Verus Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a rapidly growing MSP company that is looking to expand its sales team. This role is ideal for someone who has come from an account management background and wants to expand into the IT industry, or someone with an IT background looking to get into sales.

Responsibilities

• Ultimately, you will be looking after existing clients, ensuring they are happy, looked after, and offered the best solutions for their needs.
• Working closely with the technical solutions department, ensuring quotes are accurate.
• Providing first-class customer service throughout the sales process, from prospecting to closing.
• Tracking your activity on their CRM system, to ensure that everything is recorded appropriately.
• Comfortably communicating with decision-makers at different levels.

Requirements:

• Ideally, someone from a sales/account management position.
• Or perhaps, an IT professional who has dabbled in customer service and is keen to move over to the commercial side.
• You won't be afraid of talking to customers about IT/technical solutions. However, don't panic if you haven't worked in IT or technology before; there are more than enough technical experts there to show you the ropes.
• A hunger to close deals and add to your bonus pot! But again, don't panic, this role is not hugely about KPIs; it's about building and maintaining relationships.
• Full clean driving licence as you'll be required to visit clients.
