Job Description

KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a 3.5T Van Driver to work with our client based in Carlisle. Our client is a leading transport company offering flexible and reliable services to their local and national customers. The are looking for ongoing drivers to join their team of professional 3.5T Van Drivers.

As a 3.5T Van Driver your working hours and days are:

  • Monday- Saturday (working 5 days)
  • 09:30 start till finish (8-10 hours per shift)

The rate of pay as a 3.5T Van Driver is:

  • £12 p/h

Duties and responsibilities as a 3.5T Van Driver are:

  • Deliver parcels to customer homes and depots across the city
  • Multi-drop of parcels per day
  • Complete vehicle checks before and after going out on your run
  • General tidying of the van and warehouse if needed
  • Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
  • Maintain all Health and Safety Standards

The ideal candidate for a 3.5T Van Driver would need:

  • All up to date licence
  • A good knowledge of the roads
  • Ensure you arrive on time, informing the traffic office of any issues
  • Previous experience working as a 3.5T Van Driver
