Are you a skilled HGV Field Service Engineer looking for a fresh challenge with a market-leading company? Dawsongroup EMC, the UKs top supplier of self-drive municipal, industrial, and specialist vehicles for contract hire, is seeking a talented engineer to maintain, repair, and service our fleet of specialist vehicles in your area.
Position Overview:
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of our specialist vehicles and equipment. Youll play a vital role in keeping our fleet operating smoothly and ensuring our customers receive the best service possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and perform routine maintenance on specialist vehicles and company equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and industry guidelines and is completed safely.
• Keep up-to-date with administrative tasks, providing accurate and timely written reports on all maintenance and repair work.
• Prepare, modify, and evaluate vehicles for hire at Dawsongroup EMC depots and customer locations.
• Provide first-line repairs, report faults for second-line repairs, and offer technical advice to third-party engineers.

What Were Looking For:

• City and Guilds/ONC Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical circuits, gearboxes, or sweeper vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to represent Dawsongroup values.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently.
• Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
