Job Description

Are you an experience fire safety engineer? Do you enjoy working out on the road and visiting customer sites?

Pertemps have an exciting oppotunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing team covering the South West. Our client design, supply, install, commission and provide ongoing maintenance for fire safety systems across the nation.

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:
- Meet Preventive Maintenance schedule
- Respond to emergency call outs and unscheduled work when required
- Attending sites in the most efficient way while meeting customer’s Service Level Agreement
- Complete service worksheets and documents, in line with BS5839 and company policies
- Proactively feeds back on-site issues, non-compliances and additional work possibilities
- Liaises with QHSE Manager for quality audit purposes

Field Service Engineer Requirements:
- Experience in alarm installation, maintenance, and repair
- Completion of Fire Industry Association course (foundation as a minimum)
- Strong understanding of BS5839
- Technical fault finding knowledge
- Amend configuration of safety systems

Field Service Engineer Package:
- Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm
- Salary up to £32,000
- Occasionally on call as per rota
- Overtime avaliable
