Job Description
Multinational M&E Company are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their BMS servicing division, working with new and existing clients and contractors throughout the specified areas.
Duties & Responsibilities of Electrical maintenance engineer
* Responsible for making backups of software and strategy files as required for all sites visited under a service agreement
* Responsible for taking electrical LAN maps of site architecture (if applicable) for all sites visited under a service
* Responsible for attending callouts and breakdowns as and when required, according to company SLA’s
* Carry out conditional site surveys as required and produce fully detailed reports complete with recommendations
* Responsible for commissioning various DDC control systems (Trend, Cylon, Siemens and Tridium) * completing wiring and commissioning schedules, updating control panel drawings and the description of operation in the commissioning file (*Additional systems training will be provided where necessary)
* Responsible for creating software, wiring & commissioning schedules and O&M documentation complete with description of operation
Person Specification / Qualifications
* Technical expertise on multiple BMS/HVAC products (trend, tridium, schneider, siemens, ALC)
* Knowledge of Niagara based systems
* Ability to correctly interpret and alter existing control strategy in BMS systems
* Customer Service Skills – ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
