Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Product Administrator to join a dynamic product team in an amazing company for a leading UK retail brand!

As part of the Product Development and Design Team you will be working alongside designers, engineers, and technologists in supporting the development of product from pre-brief to implementation. The role of Product Administrator / NPD Assistant is to support the administration process, working to project time lines and critical paths with the delivery of documents such as product specifications, label artwork etc, assisting in the key stages of the design sign- off process to support the design and manufacturing workflows.

* Hours are Mon - Thurs 9am -5pm and Friday 9am- 4pm

Role duties:

* Supporting the design team in managing project time lines and critical paths

* Ensure NPD processes and documentation is managed and updated as required

* Drawing up of detailed product specifications using Adobe Illustrator. (Assets are provided)

* Using Adobe Illustrator to assist in the creation and maintenance of design documents

* Sample archiving and file management

* Market Research: product categories, competition etc

* Support in presentation creation where required

Ideally you will bring with you:

* Experience of working as a project administrator, ideally for a manufacturer

* Strong communication skills across all levels of an organisation

* Multitasking able to support the development of multiple projects at various stages

* Knowledge of a product NPD process

* Experience of Critical Paths would be an advantage

* Experience with Adobe illustrator, photoshop etc used for the production of specs / tech documents

* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

* Ability to organise, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
