Job Description
CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be working exclusively with a dynamic, commercial business, based in Petersfield, Hampshire for the recruitment of a Temporary to Permanent Credit Controller.
Based in an extremely friendly team where employee wellbeing is paramount to the business, the successful candidate will have full ownership of their own ledger and will use their excellent communication skills to forge successful, long-standing relationships.
What will the Credit Control role involve?
Collecting mixed value aged and current debt by telephone and email;
Resolving all associated credit control queries and escalating problematic accounts to the Credit Control Manager;
Raise and send monthly statements at the beginning of each month;
Carry out credit checks on new customers to evaluate appropriate payment terms;
Reviewing existing customers’ credit limits and ensuring credit terms are being met;
Attending weekly credit control team meetings and highlighting any problematic accounts;
General administration including creation and management of customer accounts.
Suitable Candidate for the Credit Control vacancy:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Possess excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work deadlines;
Self-motivated, confident, and persistent.
