Summary:
Kenton Black are pleased to be partnered with a Water Testing facility in the South East, who are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to become an integral part of their engineering team, focusing on water systems servicing across London and the South East.
This role is perfect for a practical and proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining high industry standards and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 75% planned and 25% unplanned maintenance tasks on a variety of water system equipment to ensure the highest level of reliability and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections, servicing, and calibration of water systems and associated machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair a range of equipment faults on-site, making decisions to correct issues in an impactful and timely manner.
- Provide comprehensive service reports, documenting all maintenance work performed, recommendations, and any follow-up actions required.
- Work closely with the technical support team to resolve complex technical issues and share the knowledge for improvement of service delivery.
- Manage a schedule of preventive maintenance and respond to urgent maintenance calls during working hours.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Engineering, or a related technical field, is preferred but not essential.
- Significant hands-on experience in a field service engineering role; experience in water systems engineering is desirable, although comprehensive training will be provided.
- Legionella Awareness training and full working knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG274 is desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Full UK driving license is required.
