Senior In-house Contracts/Tech Lawyer (excellent pay - FT/PT)

Hays Legal is instructed with this exceptional high-level commercial contracts opportunity, joining a team of senior lawyers working on complex, global matters with the highest-level stakeholders, on key projects and cutting-edge transactions. You will play a crucial role in protecting the global reputation of this business by helping to future-proof via robust legal advice and risk mitigation.

This team deals with only the highest-level contracts across all businesses and functions, from major AI acquisitions to the highest-level sponsorship agreements.

Specific experience in IT/tech contracts is not necessary and the team will consider those without commercial contracts experience, provided you have non-contentious experience (e. corporate, banking etc) from an international, national or strong Legal 500 practice, alongside good academics.

You will:

• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, advising on new technology risks and contracting approach.
• Work on specialist advisory matters, working in teams to enable new technologies and support the management of emerging risk including AI, cyber & innovation.
• Support on major incidents.
• Be involved in the highest-level projects e. AI and regulatory change

This is a fabulous opportunity for an energetic, motivated senior lawyer (minimum 6 years PQE+) with a can-do attitude. You must have a background at a recognised commercial law firm or highly regarded in-house team. You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with senior level stakeholders throughout the organisation, the ability to think logically, work to deadlines and be flexible in your approach. Only those with UK experience will be considered.
