Location: Mansfield
Hours: 14.8 - 22.2 hours per week (part-time)
Salary: £24,724 - £27,232 FTE per annum (Up to £14,834.40 – £16,339.20 per annum for 22.2 hours per week)
Contract type: Temporary until 31st March 2026
Closing date: 9th October 2024

Our client has an exciting opportunity for Support Workers to join their project team, supporting people to reduce their financial pressures and stress - leading to improved mental health and wellbeing. The project will be delivered in Mansfield and London. They are looking for 2 Support Workers to work specifically in Mansfield.

Your impact:

You will deliver face to face 1-2-1 sessions and group workshops in a wide range of community venues in Mansfield, achieving a range of positive outcomes including: increased income; reduced financial pressures and stress; increased skills, knowledge and confidence around cooking, eating and heating in an energy efficient and healthy way; reduced energy use and savings on energy bills; increased awareness around energy safeguarding, gas safety and the dangers of carbon monoxide, contributing to improved safety at home; increased awareness of and engagement with other local support services.

You will have experience of designing and delivering community based activities that achieve positive outcomes for individuals and their families. You will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and sustain relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders.
