Our well-established client specialises in providing bespoke solutions across sorting technology, and automated storage and retrieval systems, including controls, warehouse management systems, and IT integration.
Salary:
£70,000 to £80,000 Purpose of the Role:
As a Controls Engineer Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Controls Department within the UK office. Your responsibilities will range from managing personnel to ensuring the successful execution of electrical engineering projects, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Controls Department by recruiting, training, and supervising staff, and implementing performance management processes.
Contribute electrical engineering insights and recommendations to strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
Oversee the execution of electrical projects, from planning and budgeting to installation and resolution of design issues.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
Keep abreast of industry trends, codes, and requirements through continuous learning and participation in professional networks and organisations. Additional Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address ad-hoc duties as assigned, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in fulfilling organisational needs.
