We're hiring a Technical Business Analyst to join our Innovations Team.

Responsibilities

Review project scope and vision with project sponsors.

Elicit, evaluate, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, subject matter experts and/or end users.

Ability to comprehend complex technical requirements and translate them into functional specification documents and user stories.

Interpret customer requirements into feasible options and communicates these back to the business stakeholders.

Partner with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.

Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.

Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Fill backlogs, drive refinement meetings, and help prioritize stories based on the project scope and requirements.

Participates in the full SDLC, including QA and UAT.

Assist end-users by troubleshooting issues directed to the Support Desk.

Work with System Admins to analyze issues and trends, define solutions for system issues, implement additional/new procedures, and provide more efficient business practices.

Review system patches and releases and advise on impacts to users, workflows, and processes.

Develop documentation to memorialize and enable the implementation of new rules.

Partner with stakeholders to provide diagnostic and trending reports to assist in problem resolution.

Increase technical and industry knowledge by reviewing publications and completing assigned trainings.

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's with a minimum of 5 years business analysis experience in financial services or a related field.
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, user stories, verification, and methodology development.
  • Knowledgeable in website technologies and mobile and web application development.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, mathematical, and critical thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them on an agreeable solution.
  • Excellent planning, documentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated, able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing team environment.
  • Exceptional customer service, listening, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Efficient with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with web services or integration development teams, with relational data models and comfortable writing basic SQL.
  • Experience with API specifications including knowledge of XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP.
  • Experience mapping front-end applications to API data structures.
  • Familiar with networking and network protocols such as HTTP(S), FTP, TLS, SSL, etc.
  • Able to read/comprehend API Reference documentation for 3rd Parties to vet feasibility of an integration.
  • Experience with Jack Henry or other core banking systems.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira or a similar tool.
