Huntsman is seeking an Electrician supporting the Performance Products division located in Conroe, Texas. This position will report to the Maintenance Superintendent.

Job Scope:

Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting work as needed in an industrial chemical plant environment.

As the Electrician, you will:

* Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair various electrical components and systems including low voltage automation systems, low voltage motor control circuits, and medium voltage (4160V) power distribution systems including motor starters (480 / 4160), VFDs, transformers, motors, lighting, etc.
* Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial electrical work utilizing schematics, hand tools and test equipment throughout the facility and make repair actions as needed.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with variable frequency drives.
* Install/modify conduit, fittings, wiring, and associated electrical equipment in an industrial chemical plant setting. Design/plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and fixtures based on assigned job scope.
* Interface with process control engineers, SIS engineer, and maintenance to execute complex testing of control loops and various safety functions as it relates to electrical equipment. This may include test plan execution support during project start up and plant turn arounds.
* Assist planning/scheduling team with development of electrical repair plans and specifying/ordering materials needed for work order execution.
* Document all completed work and the conditions found utilizing SAP as necessary.
* Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lift, etc.
* Participate in weekend coverage rotation/call-out duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Requirements:

* High School diploma or associate's degree
* 5+ years of experience in Industrial electrical maintenance.
* Experience in a petrochemical or refining facility (Required)
* Texas Electrical Journeyman License (Required)

Specific Skills and Knowledge:

* Requires an understanding of power distribution, industrial controls, and electrical code for supporting existing and future production lines and equipment.
* Requires working knowledge/understanding of electrical schematics, 1-line diagrams, P&IDs, loop sheets, and/or operating manuals and the ability to complete as-builds.
* Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.
* Assists other employees in accomplishments of Huntsman company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
* Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company-required training programs.
* Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.
* Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.
