Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model
- Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary
- Develop new business by identifying prospective customers and participating in trade shows and conferences
- Stay informed about market conditions and competitors' products to share information with customers
- Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Work Environment
- Frequently outside the office environment visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions
Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality
- Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
- Proficient computer skills, including experience using Customer Relationship Management tools
- Valid driver's license and good motor vehicle record
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Qualifications
- Must be able to stand, walk, drive, sit, lift, carry, grasp objects, and manipulate objects as part of the job responsibilities
