Accounting Clerk (1024)

JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Regional Manager of Accounts Payable, the incumbent will be responsible for processing invoices in the financial system to ensure their payment within the prescribed timeline, matching invoices to vendor statements and following-up on missing invoices and, verifying reports. The incumbent will perform all other related duties based on the needs of the Accounts Payable Department. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma plus an additional business or administrative support program of over six months and up to one year, which includes accounting courses, or equivalent; A combination of training and experience deemed equivalent may be considered; Successful completion of accounting / bookkeeping knowledge test; Good computer, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and accounting software processing skills; Proven ability to organize and manage assigned workload; Proven communication and interpersonal skills; Proven ability to function in a changing work environment; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Physical ability to perform assigned work; Good work history (performance and attendance); Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network’s management philosophy and organizational values; Adherence to the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
