Position Summary Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) has an immediate permanent, part-time (0.69 FTE) Occupational Therapist opening. Operating within a client-centered approach and as an essential member of our interdisciplinary team, an Occupational Therapist makes a substantial contribution to promote functional independence and enable patients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes. Days of work are rotating days working every other weekend. Shifts times 08:00 to 16:00 hours. KGH is a tertiary hospital offering a full range of services with 472-inpatient beds and over 78,000 ED visits yearly. Adjacent to KGH is home to the brand new Interior Heart & Surgical Centre (IHSC) which opened in 2015 and is BC’s only cardiac critical care centre outside of Victoria and the Lower Mainland. Come and experience our four seasons playground and see why life is better here Qualfications • Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program. • Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professions of British Columbia (CHCPBC) [formerly College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC)]. Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or British Columbia Society of Occupational Therapists. • Valid Driver’s license.
