Job Description
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Accounts Assistant in Lytham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a great team with a company with a sterling reputation. This role is suitable for people commuting from Preston, Kirkham, South shore, ST’Annes and Blackpool.
Accounts Assistant Salary: £24,000
Accounts Assistant Hours: 9am-5pm Monday- Friday

Accounts Assistant Roles and responsibilities:
• Responding to Client queries.
• Liaising with HMRC for things such as payment queries and chasing refunds etc.
• Completing corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, VAT returns and Payroll.
• Bookkeeping for clients online using QuickBooks and xero
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Ensuring the client data is accurately held on company systems
• Preparation of Basic Accounts and Tax Returns
Accounts Assistant key competencies:
* Work independently, or as part of a team.
* Working Knowledge of Accounting systems and software.
* Strong Organisation and Analytical skills.
* The ability to build trusting relationships.
* Attention to detail
* Able to work to deadlines
This role is suitable for people with experience in:
* Finance Assistants
* Accounts Assistants
* Bookkeepers
* Purchase ledger Clerk
