CNC Turner

Late Shift

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 plus 1/3 uplift and overtime

Our client is a well-established company located on the outskirts of Woking, Surrey. They are looking for a CNC Turner - Machinist Setter/ Operator and Programmer for their Late Shift. 40 hour per week working: Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 23:00 with 2 x 20-minute paid breaks per day; and Friday’s 14:00 – 18:00. Salary is £35,000 to £45,000 plus a third shift uplift and overtime – excellent benefits including a production bonus. Part time 36 hours would also be considered.

CNC Turner - CNC Machinist Setter/ Operator/ Programmer candidate requirements.

* You will be confident in using Mazak, Siemens or Fanuc controls and will be able to program, set and operate these machines.

* Ideally your more recent experience will be of using a twin spindle lathe or sliding head lathes machine.

* You are able to read and interpret engineering drawings enabling efficient programming, setting and manufacturing, to achieve a ‘right first time’ product.

* Some programming experience with ISO controls would be an advantage but training will be given to the right candidate.

* Strong problem-solving skills with good practical application.

* Highly motivated to improving productivity without compromise on quality.

* Good communication, operational and organizational skills.

* Well presented with a positive, proactive, and professional approach.
