Special Needs (Autism) Teaching Assistants - SEN School in Leeds
NextGen Teachers are currently working with a Specialist Provision located in Leeds who are seeking to recruit full-time Teaching Assistants to support there pupils with SEN needs starting from September 2024 for temporary to permanent contracts.
This Specialist SEN School in Leeds caters for pupils aged 4-16 years of age who are Neurodiverse and who have Social and Emotional Mental Health needs and who are working on a Primary based curriculum.
The role of a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in this school will be to:
Support pupils in the classroom on a day to day basis.
Working with multiple pupils and supporting students with 1-2-1 support and Intervention.
Support pupils with their holistic development in line with there Educational Health Care Plans.
Supporting and managing the behaviour and needs of the students.We are seeking passionate and caring individuals who are interested in supporting SEN Learners on a full-time basis so if you are interested please apply!
