HGV Class 1 Container driver (temp to perm)

An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients based in Walsall has become available and we are currently looking for HGV Class 1 container drivers on a temp to perm basis.

The role will entail and not limited to:

• Driving C+E vehicles
• Delivering containers to clients in and around the midlands/Wales areas
• Vehicle checks prior to taking the vehicle and check sheets to be filled out
• Able to use PDA and Whatsapp to send pictures of loads.
• Communication with the office to inform of any issues or delays.

To be considered for this HGV Class 1 container drivers role you will need:

• Category C+E (held for minimum 2 years)
• 6 Months experience driving C+E vehicles
• Valid Tahco and DQC cards
• Clean driving license (desirable)
• Experience in a similar role (desirable)
• Friendly, professional and dedicated to great customer service
• An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace

Benefits:

• Annual Salary - £40,040
• Working days - Monday to Friday
• Start times between 04:00 09:00 (flexibility will be required)
• Guaranteed 55 hours per week
• Immediate starts available
• 13 week temp to perm
