Title: Noise and Vibration Engineer
Location: Brighton
Salary: £26-35k depending on experience
We are currently searching for a highly skilled Noise and Vibration Engineer to join our team at a prominent environmental consulting firm. Our firm is dedicated to offering specialized technical and advisory services to a diverse client base, encompassing sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, and transportation. As a Noise and Vibration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in addressing complex challenges and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients.
The Noise and Vibration Engineer will be responsible for overseeing construction noise and vibration deliverables, handling complaints and incidents, ensuring compliance with environmental requirements and technical specifications, arranging noise insulation or temporary rehousing, and providing evidence for reviews.

PensionTo be considered for the noise and vibration consultant position, you should have Membership of the Institute of Acoustics, practical experience in mitigating construction noise and vibration from major infrastructure schemes, knowledge of noise and vibration Environmental Impact Assessment processes, environmental legislation, impact mitigation, and dealings with statutory authorities, as well as the ability to manage construction noise and vibration risks and their impacts in terms of time, costs, and reputation. A proactive and adaptable approach is also expected.
