Job Description
TeacherActive are supporting one of our partner schools in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a talented Mathematics Teacher to join their team from September 2024.
This mathematics teaching role is based at a thriving and inclusive educational community committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and the holistic development of their students. Located in the picturesque town of Tunbridge Wells, the school provides a supportive and enriching environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and training.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and a love for learning.
Support the school's Catholic ethos and values in all aspects of teaching and interaction with students.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Mathematics at secondary school level, preferably including A-level.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
A commitment to staff well-being and work-life balance.
