Position: Mechanical Estimator
Location: Nottingham
Salary: Negotiable (Based on experience and qualifications)

We are recruiting for a fast-growing company based in Nottingham that specialises in delivering mechanical & electrical services across commercial, industrial, and retail projects. Our client has built a strong reputation for innovation, reliability, and excellence in the industry. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Mechanical Estimator to join their team.
Role Overview:
Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to accurately assess project costs and provide competitive pricing for mechanical works across a range of sectors. You will play a critical role in the tendering process, helping to secure new business and contribute to the company’s ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical works.
* Conduct site visits and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information.
* Prepare and submit tender documents, ensuring all estimates are competitive, accurate, and align with company standards.
* Monitor and adjust cost estimates as project details evolve.
* Collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure that all aspects of the project are covered in the estimate.
* Keep up to date with industry trends, material costs, and regulatory changes to ensure accurate and current estimates.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator, preferably within commercial, industrial, or retail projects.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, installation processes, and relevant building regulations.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in estimation software and strong IT skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
