Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Planning and Customer Service Coordinator based at its Pittsburgh, PA office. This position will be responsible for performing customer service functions, ERP data entry, and coordinating inventory movement between domestic sites.
Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, and McKinney, TX in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China.
The primary responsibilities of this role will consist of providing customer service, data entry, and inventory planning. The customer service aspects of this role will consist of entering customer information such as contacts, addresses, and customer orders into our ERP system, as well as monitoring a shared customer inbox and phone line. The data entry aspects of this role will consist of maintaining and entering new inventory part records in our ERP system. For inventory planning, this role will work closely with our sales, shipping, production, and procurement teams for our domestic sites.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain, or entrepreneurship, along with 1 year of internship or business office experience in customer service, logistics, scheduling, or production planning. Experience with international trade compliance a plus.
