Orange County Convention Center is seeking candidates to apply for entry level electrical and plumbing roles in ourEvent Utilities department.
Representative Duties
Apprentice- Assist experienced technicians in the installation of temporary electrical services for events.
Technician- Able to install simple installation of temporary utilities and plumbing services for events.
Senior Technician- Able to install temporary utilities services and plumbing services for events.Able to install temporary utilities, plumbing services for events and troubleshoot equipment and services as needed.
UL Shop
Technicians- Able to assemble and repair equipment.
Senior Technician-Able to layout and manufactureequipment used by the Event Utilities Department.
Minimum Qualifications
No prior experience necessary. Valid FL Driver's License required. Must be able to work irregular hours according to show activity including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferences
Apprentice:1 year experience in one or more of the above representative duties.
Technician:1 - 3 years experience in one or more of the above representative duties.
UL Shop
Senior Technician:3 - 4 or more years experiencein one or more of the above representative duties.
Technicians:3 - 4 years experiencein one or more of the above representative duties.
