Job Description
We are looking to take on an experienced ALN Teaching Assistant. The successful ALN Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work in a bright and inclusive setting in Cardiff, with staff who are committed to ensuring the progression and success of their students, and in a learning environment that promotes well-being, independence, and teamwork.
As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the Class Teacher to ensure high standards of teaching, supporting students 1-2-1 with general school tasks and Daily Life Skills.
Our successful ALN Teaching Assistant will:
Have Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or at least 6 months experience in Education
Have ALN/PMLD experience and/or 1-2-1 experience
Have good behavioural management skills/experience with challenging behaviours
Have an All Wales Passport in Manual Handling
Have experience in assisting with and promoting Independent Living Skills and Personal Care
