Job Title: Adult Safeguarding Social Worker
Location: Hybrid (Office & Home-Based)
Salary: £35,000 - £43,000
Relocation Allowance: Up to £8,000
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Adult Safeguarding Social Worker to work with a well funded local authority that provides guaranteed career development and daily one-to-one support. This permanent role offers a hybrid working model, with the requirement to be in the office for two days a week while on duty and the flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the week. As part of a duty rota, you will handle urgent cases, provide timely support to adults in need, and work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure the best outcomes for service users. Caseloads will be shared out with other social workers if help is needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Duty Rota: Be on the duty rota two days a week, handling emergency cases and providing immediate support.
- Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of adult service users, conducting assessments, creating care plans, and reviewing their progress.
- Collaborative Working: Work alongside other professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to adult social care.
- Safeguarding: Identify and address safeguarding concerns, ensuring all actions comply with relevant legislation and policies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions with service users.
- Continuous Professional Development: Engage in mandatory training during the probation period and participate in ongoing training for skills enhancement and professional development.
Support and Development:
- Buddy System: You will have your own practice supervisor to provide daily support with queries, ensuring you feel confident and supported in your role.
