Private Client Solicitor, Cheltenham, 1-5 PQE

A prestigious law firm based in the heart of Cheltenham, renowned for its stunning offices and strong local presence, are seeking a skilled and motivated private client Solicitor with 1-5 years PQE. The ideal candidate will have experience in court of protection matters, providing a fantastic opportunity to further develop their expertise in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including wills, trusts, probate, and lasting powers of attorney.
• Advising and representing clients on court of protection matters, including deputyship applications and the management of vulnerable client affairs.
• Offering clear and empathetic advice to clients on complex private client issues, ensuring a tailored and supportive approach.
• Working closely with other members of the team, contributing to the firm's high standards of service and excellence.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Between 1-5 years PQE as a qualified solicitor in private client law.
• Court of Protection experience is strongly desirable.
• A client-focused approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical knowledge, with attention to detail and the ability to handle complex and sensitive matters with care.
• Able to manage a diverse caseload independently, whilst also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
