Job description

The Counsellor will provide highly professional counselling and wellbeing support to students on an individual basis, attending to a wide range of presenting issues throughout the referral process. The Counsellors also work as part of the larger Student Services team to ensure a joined-up approach to supporting students and providing high level customer service to ensure all students’ needs are met.


You will have an excellent understanding of severe emotional and psychological mental health disorders, experience in providing short term counselling and assessing risk, along with an understanding of the needs of a diverse and multi-cultural student population. They will work with a holistic approach to the students’ needs and service provisions to enhance student engagement and contribute to the student experience.
