Job Description
My client is a highly reputable, leading national insurance broker looking to expand their team further due to continued growth. They are seeking a Compliance Assistant to join their successful team on a full time, permanent basis. This is an office-based role but a hybrid working structure is offered after a qualifying period.
They are offering a salary of up to £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
We are looking for a Compliance Assistant to support the Compliance Manager in ensuring all activities meet legal and regulatory standards. You will assist with monitoring, administrative tasks, policy reviews, and report creation.
Main duties include: -
* Conduct internal audits, monitoring, and support compliance with Consumer Duty and Fair Value.
* Assist with local monitoring plans, administrative tasks, and regulatory reporting.
* Review core processes, monitor contract performance, and ensure compliance standards are met.
* Maintain product oversight, governance documentation, and sub-agent monitoring.
* Ensure accurate record-keeping, continuous professional development, and adherence to company guidelines.
* Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, attend relevant events, and collaborate effectively with staff.
The successful candidate must have: -
* Experience in compliance and monitoring within a regulated environment
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Excellent customer service skills
* Proficient in Excel and Word
* Strong communication skills
* Effective team player
